Who we are
We are Bubblebean — a small nonprofit lead by a group of highschool students in the United States, a group of people who all have big hearts.
Our journey began with a church mission trip to Honduras,While visiting local villages and schools, we saw how many children couldn’t afford basic things like notebooks, pencils, or even shoes to get to class. Some schools had broken walls, no whiteboards, or not enough desks. What we have seen changed us and made us want to help in a way that was thoughtful, personal, and lasting. Yet, we saw hope, strength, and the deep desire to learn.
Back home, we looked for a way to stay connected. Since Honduras is known for its coffee, and we had access to natural materials. So we started Bubblebean with one simple idea: What if something as small as a coffee bean could change a child’s future?
Today, we began making coffee grounds soaps and coffee bean bracelets by hand and sharing the story behind each product, in order to slowly build a project that lets people support education with something simple and meaningful.
OUR MISSION
At Bubblebean, our mission is to turn something as simple as a coffee bean into a chance for children in rural Honduras to learn, grow, and dream.
We create and sell handmade products — like coffee grounds soaps and coffee bean bracelets — to raise funds for schools and students who need real support. Every purchase helps cover:
School supplies — backpacks, notebooks, uniforms, and pens
Classroom repairs — fixing walls, building desks, bringing in light and electricity
Daily essentials — like soap and clean water access that help kids stay healthy and ready to learn
But our impact doesn’t stop at the classroom. We also connect with local women and artisans in Honduras who help handcraft our products. Many are mothers who want to care for their children while still earning an income, so we offer flexible, home-based work that supports both families and futures. Through this income, they can afford essentials such as their children’s education, medical needs, and daily household expenses. Most of our materials are natural, recycled, and locally sourced, ensuring that every product not only empowers people but also strengthens the communities we serve.
To us, this isn’t just about soap or bracelets. It’s about creating something small that does something big. It’s about using what we have — time, care, coffee — to open doors for others. And it’s about inviting you to help make that happen, one handmade product at a time.

We saw children eager to learn, but schools with broken walls and empty shelves. So we came home with an idea — turn coffee into a tool for change.
Now, every product tells a story. Join us in building something that lasts, one small step at a time
