Hello, this is Shelly, the founder of Bubblebean. I’m a high school student at Greensboro Day School in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is passionate about using business as a way to create social impact. During a mission trip to Honduras, I lived with a local family who grew coffee beans but couldn’t sell them because of unstable markets. That experience opened my eyes to how business can solve real problems that charity alone cannot. When I returned home, I started a small project that turned used coffee grounds into handmade soap, helping local families earn income from what they already had. And that’s how Bubblebean was created.
